Our winter campaign is our biggest support campaign of the year, offering a wide range of help to customers who may be struggling through the festive season and the colder months.
From social events for those that are isolated and alone to children’s Christmas presents, wellbeing support and winter warmth items, our specialist teams work hard to help provide and distribute a whole host of measures that make a difference to hundreds of customers and families every year. We’re pleased to say we have helped 427 households so far!
But we couldn’t do it without the generous support of our fantastic partner organisations and contractors, who go above and beyond to support the winter campaign with donations and assistance wherever they can.
We’ve made the most of more than £15,000 in financial donations and variety of festive treats, food and selection boxes from other contractors, that were taken to food pantries and shared with community groups and customers in need.
Head of social impact, Emma Sneyd, said: “We are always amazed by the generosity of our contractors when it comes to supporting the winter campaign. We work with these organisations because they share our values and believe in doing their bit in the communities where they work, especially at Christmas time, and we are incredibly grateful for the help they are able to provide.”
