
Plus Dane helped our customers secure more than £20,000 in financial gains in 2025 through its partnership with Lightning Reach.
Lightning Reach is a free and secure platform that makes it easier for people to find and apply for the help they’re eligible for, all in one place. This can include grants, benefits, help with bills and other vital resources.
We recently marked a year in partnership with this great organisation.
Plus Dane customers can sign up for a Lightning Reach profile in around 12 minutes, and then are quickly able to see a range of support you are eligible to apply for, including help with rent, council tax and household bills, support for energy costs and home improvements, and funding for food, clothing and daily essentials.
Lightning Reach matches users to more than 2,500 schemes from charities, organisations, and councils across the UK. In 2025 their portal helped to distributed more than £20k to Plus Dane customers struggling with household costs. They have also helped hundreds of customers with energy and debt advisory support, and identified almost £30k in unclaimed benefit entitlement.
We have also made the portal available to colleagues. Lightning Reach is one element of a wide range of support we are able to offer customers struggling with money worries and wellbeing issues.
