There will be a community clean up event on the Radway Estate in Alsager on Monday, September 2 from 10am until 12:30pm.
All Radway residents are welcome to make use of three skips that will be provided on the day on Cedar Court, Centre Court and Radway Club carpark off Longview Ave.
Plus Dane Housing, Cheshire East Council, Alsager Town Council and Alsager Community Support are working in partnership to host the event. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to help people dispose of their clutter and unwanted general household items. Unfortunately the skips will not be accept upholstered furniture, mattresses, fridges, tyres or plasterboard.
Residents with mobility issues who may not be physically able to bring their own items to the skips may be able to take advantage of a pick up service that will have limited slots available on a first come, first served basis. To book please contact Plus Dane on 07436548467.
Cakes and refreshments will be provided, and residents are also encouraged to take part in a short survey to help the us understand how they can help to improve the neighbourhood. There also be information about additional support for residents and their families.
