A consultation has been launched on the draft Consumer Standards which looks at the requirements landlords are expected to meet in the services they provide to their customers. The outcome of the consultation will form the new regulation regime for all housing associations.
The main purpose of the standards is to make sure that customers receive a quality service from their landlord and are treated with fairness and respect. Landlords must make sure they are listening to customers as well as understanding the condition of the homes they manage. They must also provide accessible services that respond to the needs of their customers.
As part of the wider consultation an event has been organised for tenants from ethnic minority groups across the Liverpool City Region. This will give you the opportunity to find out more about the Consumer Standards and also feed your views into the consultation process.
If you would like to attend the event being held at the Novotel on Hanover Street, Liverpool L1 4LN on 27th September 2023 9.30am-12.30pm, please contact Irene Crone at irene.crone@plusdane.co.uk to book your place.
