We know that Christmas can be a difficult time of year for many. It can put added strain on a household’s finances, and it can increase feelings of isolation and loneliness. We want to remind all customers that we have a range of support services in place to help anyone who might be struggling. More information about these services is available on this website or by calling 0800 169 2988.
If you have money worries, then our Welfare team can support you to access all of the benefits that you are entitled to, help you manage your household budget, and signpost you to any other support you may wish to access. The important thing to do is make sure that you give us a call (during office hours) and discuss your situation with us, we can’t help you if we don’t know that you’re having problems.
If you are currently looking to get back into employment, Plus Dane can support you to find opportunities that are suitable for you, or we can help you to access any training that you might find helpful. We can also signpost you to other support initiatives and community partners like funding provisions, foodbanks, holiday hunger programmes or loneliness services.
If you are feeling isolated or lonely, then our Loneliness service will be able to help you with that. Please don’t suffer in silence, send an email to lonelinesschampions@plusdane.co.uk or call 0800 169 2988.
These services are not available between 5pm on 24th December and 8.30am on 4th January.
