11th September 2020
The office has been closed to tenants since lockdown in March, and even now only a very small number of colleagues are allowed in the office with most continuing to work from home. Park Road is one of three offices we have in Liverpool, alongside our Rodney Street headquarters and the Rialto building on Upper Parliament Street.
Last year we made a decision to reduce the number of offices we have in Liverpool from three to one, it makes sense for so many reasons, not least enabling us to provide more efficient services with colleagues all working under one roof.
Our new office will be based at Atlantic Pavilion at The Albert Dock, so more central for those tenants not based in the L8 area, and it will be complete in December. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, we will not be able to welcome the majority of our colleagues or tenants into the new office until restrictions are eased, but we hope it won’t be too long before we can see our tenants face to face again. As soon as we are in a position to welcome visitors back into our offices, we will let you know where and how you can visit us if you need to.
It is an exciting new chapter for Plus Dane, although we will be sad to leave our old offices behind. The L8 area of Liverpool is and always has been one of our key neighbourhoods, and although we are not going be based at Park Road or Rialto for much longer, we will continue to be there for you, supporting the local community as we always have done.
Keys
Until we move into our new office, if you're moving home and have keys to hand in, you can pass them into our Rialto office, which is located at 90-94 Upper Parliament Street, L8 7SY.
Cheshire
At the moment, there is no change for our tenants in Cheshire. Our Shepherd’s Mill office remains closed until restrictions are eased. We have a big office space in Congleton and as part of the office accommodation review we have been carrying out, we are looking at our changing requirements and how we can best utilise the space we currently have. We will of course let you know if there are any changes that affect you if and when decisions are made.
Part of the furniture
In keeping with our values as an organisation, as we emptied our offices in Park Road, Rialto and Rodney Street, we offered the items of furniture that we weren’t taking with us to local community groups and social businesses. It has taken our colleagues months of working together, following social distancing guidelines, to empty our offices and get them into shape for their next occupants. Working together is one of our core values, and we look forward to a new office environment that will help our Merseyside teams to do that even better.
