Last year, we partnered with a voluntary organisation in Cheshire dedicated to helping the local community and made a film to show how we work together and what they do.
Our friends at Alsager Community Support have been serving the community for nearly a decade. The registered charity has 80 established volunteers and support more than 2000 people a year with cost of living issues, wellbeing and befriending services, welfare advice, emergency food and community signposting.
At Plus Dane, we also provide our own tailored support services to help customers improve their wellbeing, save money on their household bills, access employment and training opportunities and much more.
This official partnership will mean we can work together on joint projects and activities which support the wellbeing of Plus Dane customers living on the Radway estate and help provide extra help to customers who access the Alsager Community Support Centre.
Alsager Community Support provides a free, local and confidential service for people in any kind of need in Alsager, Scholar Green, Rode Heath, Church Lawton and surrounding areas.
It has a base at Crewe Road in the town, and people can drop in or call their telephone helpline from Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 12.30pm.
They can assist with everything from benefits and job advice to help filling in forms, school uniform provision, lifts to appointments and much more.
