We are proud to have achieved Accredited level status of the Liverpool City Region’s Fair Employment Charter.
Launched in 2021, the charter champions businesses that pay and treat staff well – offering fair wages, secure jobs, and a supportive workplace.
There are three levels: Aspiring, Accredited and Ambassador.
Accredited status required us to show the positive impact our processes, procedures and mechanisms have had on colleagues, customers, the organisation and the wider community.
We are one of 24 organisations to have reached Aspiring and Accredited status so far.
There are currently 185 organisations working towards the different levels of the charter, employing 116, 449 people collectively within the Liverpool City Region.
Jas Samra, director of People at Plus Dane said: “We are so pleased to have been able to demonstrate our commitment to the Fair Employment Charter and prove we have the right things in place to move up to the next level.
“Our organisational culture, across the Liverpool City Region and Cheshire, really is critical to our success as we know that colleagues who feel valued and rewarded will help us achieve for our customers.”
Steve Rotheram, Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, said: “Everyone deserves to be paid fairly and treated with dignity at work – that should be the bare minimum in any modern, decent society. My Fair Employment Charter, developed with our trade union partners, is helping to make that a reality across our region.
“This is about celebrating and supporting the employers who do the right thing – those who provide secure jobs, pay a proper wage, and treat their staff with respect.”
