#StartsAtHome day: Our supported services

As a member of the National Federation of Housing, we are pleased to support its #StartsAtHome day campaign for supported housing. 

This Starts At Home day (August 30), we are sharing the news that we have recently been successful in our bids for three contracts to continue providing a range of specialist support services across Merseyside and Cheshire.  

These include homeless services as well as floating support and accommodation based housing support. In addition, our refugee resettlement service in Halton has been extended. 

Our Floating Support services are available to all residents in the boroughs they serve, not specifically Plus Dane customers.  

As a result of the contract wins: 

• We were one of three suppliers successful in our bid to provide accommodation-based housing support services to residents of Cheshire East Borough Council until 2029. 
• Our floating support services will continue to serve residents in Halton, with an extended provision that has seen staff from former partner organisation SHAP join Plus Dane.
• Plus Dane was part of a successful consortium contracted to provide accommodation-based homeless services for Liverpool City Council; this ensures the continued operation of our 13-bed hostel Anne Conway House.
• An extension has been granted for our refugee resettlement team to continue providing support in Halton for the next 12 months until the contact will go out to tender again.
