Earl Jenkins is a year head at a large secondary school in south Liverpool and a community activist in the L8 community.
He has a passion for supporting young people both through their learning journey in the school setting, and by providing opportunities to belong through using grass roots football as a tool to engage and empower young people, and provide  positive Health and Wellbeing activities.
His passion for community work began at the age of 19 when he visited Namibia with Raleigh International, supporting the build of a local school and completing several conservation projects. This was the catalyst for him wanting to do more within his own community and his deep belief that young people need the right support at the right time to reach their full potential, to become valuable community members or indeed community champions.
As well as being a Board member for Plus Dane, he is also Chair of Kingsley United Football Club and is a Board member at the Unity Community Association, which runs the Unity Youth Club in Lodge Lane.
