We want to make sure that you can access all our services and information as easily as possible. We can do that by changing the way we present or send things to make it easier for you. 

We are here to help support you to access our services. The Equality Act 2010 requires us, as your landlord, to provide reasonable adjustments. There is no specific list of reasonable adjustments, any reasonable adjustment will depend on your needs. 

We are happy to discuss your preferences or requirements and reach an agreement with you on how we can change what we do, how we provide information or services to you, or how we can help in general. This is known as a ‘reasonable adjustment’.

Here are some examples of what we can do: 

• Provide letters or important information in alternative formats such as large print, coloured paper or we can translate our English text into an alternative, preferred language
• We can offer alternative formats for our digital communication attachments such as PDF, JPEG or Word DOC
• We can ring you to explain a letter or communication
• We can meet you face to face in our offices or we can come and meet you in your home
• We can extend certain timescales (where it is lawful to do so) to help you deal with a matter 
• We can support you with an application for an adaptation in your home, such as a ramp
• We can help you bid for homes on the fair based letting system for your area, eg the Property Pool Plus system on Merseyside
• We can arrange grabrails and in some case we can offer security doorbells
• We can work around your hospital or dental appointments if you let us know in advance
• We can work with a person on your behalf, which can be a family member, friend or support worker. We can support you with the completion of a third-party consent form.

Our Website

Our website has been designed to be as clear and user friendly as possible, but there is a lot of information on our site and it can be daunting and you might have trouble finding the exact thing you are looking for. We can help with that. Just get in touch. 

Throughout the website we use Adobe PDF documents, JPEG images and also Word Doc, files for additional information and downloads. The Adobe PDF Reader is freely available for use on any computer HERE.
