We think our values pretty much sum us up and we hope you will find it second nature demonstrating these values and behaviours in everything you do. Our values were developed by colleagues from all parts of the business at all levels through a variety of workshops and colleague led forums back in 2018.
The Values in Action Recognition Scheme is a way that you can show your appreciation to those colleagues who you feel have demonstrated our values and behaviours. Everyone appreciates being told they’re doing a good job from time to time, or being thanked for going the extra mile, which is why the Values in Action Recognition Scheme is in place.
It might be that someone has demonstrated our values and behaviours to help you achieve a positive outcome, or in doing something amazing for another colleague or a customer; a little thank you can put a massive smile on someone’s face. Everyone who receives a card is in with a chance of being turned into the star of their very own comic strip - have a look at the image gallery at the bottom of this page for some examples of colleagues who have put the Values into Action!
Our Values in Action Awards take place every year and the categories are linked to our values and behaviours. Colleagues are given the opportunity to nominate each other, and we also look for colleagues to volunteer to judge and score the nominations.
